Do I have to be a Christian?

No. Our support is available to people of every faith and none. Nobody will ask you what you believe, and nobody will ask you to attend anything.

Does it cost anything?

No. We will never ask you for money, and we will never ask you to pay us back.

What if you cannot help?

We will tell you, rather than leave you wondering, and we will try to point you to someone who can. Being told no quickly is more useful than being told nothing slowly.

Can I ask again later?

Yes. Circumstances change, and asking once does not use up your turn.

We look at what we might be able to offer.
We come back to you either way — including when the answer is no, or when someone else is better placed to help.

Asking is not a promise of support. We would rather be clear about that now than raise hopes we cannot meet.

What we do with what you tell us

We ask for as little as we can. We do not ask for your address, or your date of birth, or your immigration status. We handle concerns sensitively and restrict access to information to those who need it to assess or respond to the matter. Information may need to be shared where necessary to investigate a concern, protect someone from harm or comply with legal obligations. We cannot promise absolute confidentiality or anonymity.
