Our work
Outreach & Partnerships
Building partnerships to support future community outreach, informed by our previous humanitarian activities in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
No single organisation can meet every need. Outreach & Partnerships is how we join up with people and organisations who share the goal, so that practical support reaches further and lasts longer.
The challenge
Help is often fragmented. People fall between services, efforts are duplicated, and willing volunteers do not know where they are needed.
The most vulnerable people, including widows and widowers, older people and people who are homeless, are often the hardest for any one organisation to reach.
Our outreach so far, and what comes next
Between 2022 and 2024 we held three community outreach events in Ikorodu, Lagos State, offering free clothing, food and medical aid. Those events are complete. Medical aid was part of them; it is not one of our programmes.
Looking ahead, we are building partnerships with individuals, volunteers, community groups and humanitarian organisations, locally and internationally, to extend practical support and strengthen communities.
Anyone can take part, at any level, through volunteering, advocacy, technical support or financial partnership.
Community outreach
Future outreach that would reach vulnerable people where they are, including those who would not come and ask.
Volunteering
Matching people's time and skills to where they are most needed.
Partnerships
Building partnerships with churches, businesses, community groups and humanitarian organisations to extend practical support.
Advocacy and technical support
Partners who contribute expertise, or speak up for the communities we serve.
