Our mission
To serve people and communities in need through compassionate, faith-inspired humanitarian action, providing practical support that restores dignity, brings hope and transforms lives.
Compassion
We begin with the person in front of us, and respond to what they actually need rather than what is easiest to give.
Dignity
Nobody should have to trade their dignity for help. We ask only what we need to ask, and speak about people as we would want to be spoken about.
Integrity
We do what we said we would do with what we were given, and we are honest when we fall short.
Community
We work alongside communities, not over them. The people closest to a need usually understand it best.
Service
We are here to be useful, not to be seen. The work matters more than the credit for it.
Sustainable impact
We judge our work by whether it lasts: a water point that still works, a family that no longer needs us.
Faith, and who we serve
Our Christian faith is the foundation of our compassion. It shapes why we serve, never whom we will serve. People of every faith and none are welcome and treated the same, and support is never conditional on religious participation.
